Hola, hallo and welcome to the incredible journey I have had this summer! Needless to say, I have had an absolutely amazing ride so far, and I can’t wait to share the rest of my adventures with you.
After a long five weeks, I am finally headed back to the good ole’ USA. This summer has been one of firsts for me, including the first time traveling abroad with 15 strangers. For the past five weeks, I have been enrolled in Michigan State’s study abroad program, “From Barcelona to Berlin: A Creative Journey.” By the end of my trip, I visited four countries, five cities, ate far too many pretzels and laughed more than I thought possible. I am truly blessed for the opportunity to study abroad, and I look forward to keeping my new friends as souvenirs in East Lansing.
As if that wasn’t enough, I am now on to my newest adventure: New York City.
By the time I arrive home from Europe, it will be Friday night. Saturday is reserved for errands, laundry and repacking, as I turn around and fly out Sunday morning at 6 a.m. for my new home. Whew, talk about needing a minute to breathe.
While I’m still recovering from the excitement of my study abroad, I am so unbelievably excited to be spending the rest of my summer under the Heart Publication roof at Good Housekeeping magazine. Check back here as I document my journey of my life as an art intern and as a New York local (kind of).
